It needs to be 100% from each party in order for the marriage to be all that it can be.

For females, the choice of leader will be the second most important choice they make in their entire lives. The choice of whether to become a servant of the Most High is the only one that eclipses it.
The similarities between the two choices are striking.

This is now on my mind like a song that won't go away! :p

Okay, so the reason I am so intent that husbandly leadership comes before wifely submission is because the sum of Scripture makes clear that the path of God's authority in the family is...

Jesus
\/
Husband/Leader of the House
\/
Wife
\/
Children

Within the family my relationship with my Savior is imperfect unless it comes to me through my husband. And if my relationship with Jesus comes through my husband then there is no reason to ask me to submit to my husband because it becomes a given.

So to me this becomes a very simple thing to accept that my husband is my leader because Jesus is my husband's leader.

No one needs to convince me of this. It simply is.

At the same time when a man makes too big a deal about a woman railing against the man's claim to leadership that typically tells me of a man who is not a leader.

A real leader doesn't need a woman's permission to lead because he would have obtained his authority from God through Christ Jesus. If he is bold and confident in his faith he will neither need her approval nor permission to lead. He should not ask for her approval, permission, or submission because that to me questions the authority that God through Christ Jesus has given to the man.

Moses wasn't supposed to hit the rock twice, right?

Like you said, the order of authority flows from God the Father, the Head of Christ, to Christ the Head of the husband, to the husband, the head of the wife, to the mother over her children.

Logically, the man must submit to Christ if he hopes to have his family (wife, wives, and/or children) in proper order. A man can't be a self centered individual, and expect his family to be blessed.

Even if the man fails to do this, the believing wife should still humbly submit to Christ via submission to her husband. Many men have been won this way.

How many children must one sire before they are considered a super spreader?
To me the "spreader" aspect implies more than one woman. Some loser in the hood that knocks up half a dozen women with one child each (6 total kids) is more a spreader than the Amish guy with one proper wife and twelve kids. In this situation, I regard the Amish guy as less "spreader", but more "super".

On the other hand, some godly men have had both multiple proper wives and a ton of kids (like Israel/Jacob) and quality as "super" and "spreader".

Do you guys remember the infertility doctor who used his own semen to fertilize hundreds of women without their knowledge or consent?

Spreader but not super

Still pretty impressive spreading though

Fit men are toxic now?
I suppose that being somewhat fit is actually a very subtle form of fat shaming.

I had no idea the depths of my cruelty.

Today was the last day for our pastor and his wife. It was also the last day for our church in the United Church of Christ! Next week we're going back to meeting at people's homes and having lunches after. I missed that tradition!

So are you still in your local church, the local church has just disassociated with the UCC? I wasn't clear earlier if your family was leaving the local church or the local church was leaving the overarching body.

The church we were meeting with had a shared lunch together each week and many would stick around and have dinner afterwards. There was always so much food that it was never a problem with visitors just turning up - which happened quite often. It was a real hoot in the summer as we would have outdoor meetings under the trees beside a mountain stream, then fire up the BBQs for lunch. But since we got the left boot, everyone has gone their separate ways.
