Twenty twenty-one is the year for canceling back.

Canceling back, as I practice the art, is not about retribution. It is about either strengthening or eliminating connections by asserting the highest truth I can perceive and requiring my viewpoints based on that truth to be respected in the relationship. My views on the questions of the day, such as the significance of race, are based on efforts to integrate unchanging truth given by God with the knowledge given by man. My views are considered transgressive by dominant mainstream America. I had largely accepted keeping my beliefs, including those about race, hidden from all but my closest connections. I will no longer do that.

For example, I was recently contacted by a 68-year-old physician, who is a friend of a friend. She wanted me to do something for her, and by way of introduction, she sent me pictures from her same-sex engagement party. She was proud that the other woman was much younger. I responded, "I want to help you, but I will not be opening the attachment because I do not believe that God sanctifies same-sex marriage. This is a deeply considered viewpoint in a difficult question that I have studied for years. I am going to send you some discourses, which I think beautifully summarize why I do not support same-sex marriage. I would like you to read them carefully so we can build an authentic connection based on integrity and mutual respect." I never heard from her again.

Here's an example of canceling back in a more important connection. I have been in a friendly relationship with a high school classmate for many years. This is a person of high intelligence and compassion. In 2021, I said to him, "I must speak out on the pain that your wife's racial bias against the people in the neighborhoods where we grew up has caused me. I have listened for years to her disparage the 'whiteness' of these people. In truth, they are the best of New York City. They are the people who risked their lives on 9/11. They are the people who risk their lives every day for her, and I can no longer bear her ingratitude in silence. I am going to send you highly researched material as to why I believe my vote was stolen. Yes, there will be a test. I need you not only to read it, but I need your heart to break as you understand what I foresee for our grandchildren in the aftermath of America."

Now I am embarking on a multidimensional project to cancel back the word "white," because today it is a term of racist abuse. It dehumanizes by obviating the historic religio-cultural diversity and connections to ancestral homelands of people who are reduced to the color label "white." Henceforth, on my canceling back adventure, I insist on being called Anglo-European American, in those instances when I am being boxed into a racial typology, as in this questionnaire by an insurance company:

"Ethnicity (optional): [ ] African American [ ] Asian American [ ] Native American [ ] Pacific Asian [ ] White, non-Hispanic [ ] Other_________________"

Each group is afforded cultural and national identity except for the last, identified by skin color only. When you purchase a pedigree dog, you can specify the fur color: "I want a black lab or a fawn pug or a parti-color poodle." Human beings should not be classified by color. It is unnatural, ignorant, and divisive. American Indians are not red, Asian-Americans are not yellow, African-Americans are not black, and European-Americans are not white. The last group is the only one that corporate America is gratified to degrade in such a way. Inevitably, black and white groups are in eternal opposition. The racial group labeled black arose in the 1960s specifically to denote opposition to the majority-European Americans. Through the decades, the connotation of the word "black" has come to mean victimhood and "white" as racist victimizer. Like Native, African-, and Asian-Americans, European-Americans are a heterogeneous group of ancestral cultures, religions, and physical characteristics. The degradations spewed at them in pseudo-psychology like "white privilege" and "fragility" could not have been inflicted had not all the descendants of European immigrants, from Ireland to Greece, from the Azores to the Russian Steppes, been congealed into a color code designation of "white."

In psychiatry, an idée fixe is a thought that so dominates the mind that it becomes the pivot of an obsessive mental illness. The public conversation in the United States is an obsessive insanity built around the idée fixe of "white" racism and "of color" resistance. Why have the leaders of government, education, and corporations become deranged babblers of this fixation? Here's why. They needed a lie so gigantic that it could enable them permanently to get away with crimes against this nation and her people.

The country people hereabouts say, "Scratch a liar, and you find a thief." The Clintons, the Bidens, the hundreds of thousands of left-wing government apparatchiki have thrown the huge, malodorous blanket of "white racism" over their lies, their thievery, and worse. (The Obamas were not thieves because they didn't have to be. Countless millions are thrown at them just for being they. They didn't have to go out and do an honest day's graft like the Bidens.) The left gets away with decades of misdeeds through the diabolical device of calling the victims of its crimes racist.

Be honest about where you live and why you choose that place. Every place has its own ways of wisdom. Learn them. Where I stay, a total stranger is likely to call you baby, or momma, or maybe sweetheart. A while ago, I was talking with a woman who was a sharecropper's daughter, one of fourteen children, raised in a house that was run down a hundred years ago. She, as well as her brothers and sisters, earned a fantastic advancement in wealth in their lives. Nothing held them back. But she chose to live on the family land in a rambling, rundown house. One day, she told me that the back of the house was falling into the dust. I said, "Oh, that's terrible! Are you going to call in a historical architect?" She looked at me as if I were insane and exploded into laughter. "Historical architect?" she gasped. I started to laugh, too. Since that time, we laugh together. I laugh a lot more now.

Here's a lesson from the tall skinny pines swaying outside the rooms within the hours of my life. I followed a rowdy family argument that raged on for three weeks, about whether Tyreeq had put the rice out after Pastor left. One faction hollered, "He's running fool." The other defended him with equal vigor. Before the fighting was over, a sidestream developed about the time Aunt Sammie took the wrong purse home. Finally, Ty's momma put an end to it. "Get Tyreeq name out of your mouths!" I watched this with appreciation. These folks do not email discourses after ruminating about moral dilemmas for six years. That's how they stay close.

Biden, get the words of color code out of your lying, demented mouth. Oprah Winfrey, get whiteness out of your race-baiting mouth. The pathetic, billionaire heinie-sniffers, Harry Whineser and Markel — she a loose-tailed heifer — get the word "white" out of your mouths. All of you who have stolen our nation's happiness and brotherhood to control the people with your hateful lies, get the white-shaming out of your mouths. We are not white-colored people. Cancel back any liar who calls you white.

"White" is destructive propaganda nonsense, as is the term "people of color". Both are tools of agents of cultural subversion.

I prefer to be called what I am. I am an adopted (in Christ) son of God. I am a man created in the image of God. I am an American. If we really need to get specific about ethnic heritage, I am an American of primarily English and German background.

Calling me "white" means I don't have a culture or a people. I do have a culture and a people, and my culture and people are pretty good ones.

The comic is both funny and true. Unfortunately, the situation is even worse than illustrated. I don't generally believe our national leaders to merely be misguided fools. I believe them to be deeply wicked (corrupt in Biden's case). They intentionally promote falsehoods as part of their subversive activity, and serve the father of lies.

“Shouldn’t have to settle for anything less than perfection”, so they settle for dying alone.

The other takeaway:
Single women keep women single.
(Being that friend that lets/helps a woman focus on all the negative until the relationship fails)

There are a lot of lonely women who, evidently, would rather stay lonely than work through the problems.

OMG this is sooooooooooooooooooooooo true!!!! My single friends ALL left me when I joined my family and 12 years later NONE of them are married!!! They might be living with someone but there's no ring on it.

Bitter divorced women try to make more bitter divorced women. If your girlfriend has a bitter divorced mom, watch out.

Fortunately I haven't experienced that, but I've certainly seen it from a distance.

Twelve years later, most of them have gained little to nothing of real value.

You on the other hand have eight beautiful children, a husband who loves, protects, and provides for you, and dear friendships with your sister wives.

My assertion is that Mr. Samuels is really onto something, although I think he is unaware of how much these same trends are in play in cultures outside of his own African-American one. I wrote the following comment to the person who forwarded me the link: "I think he doesn’t realize how influenced white culture is and has been for generations by black culture, because I believe he is right when he lists all those other cultures and how the women are comfortable belonging to their men, but, damn, that is hardly any more the case with white women than it is with black women – and young Latino women are starting to head in that direction as well. Great point about women not being brave enough to talk with other women about how they’re raising their daughters. No one has much problem telling people how to raise their sons – but daughters? Hell no." Our entire public education system is dedicated to critiquing boys, and while this has been occurring, especially during the past three decades, girls have been conversely pampered. It's considered just as sexist to question them as it's considered racist to question a black person. Those of us who live amongst significant populations of black Americans are witnessing the bizarre results of this lack of criticism, but I think anyone who doesn't recognize that the same thing will be produced in every other corner of American culture are sadly mistaken.

So, on top of dealing with the headwind of a culture that has been hypnotized by Greco-Roman-paganistic propaganda that decries polygamy, we are also, despite growing acceptance of every imaginable freak show, very likely looking at only increasing resistance to plural families among young women, because they're being led to believe that they can center their lives on their own navels but expect to marry a tall, handsome, rich stranger -- and it goes without saying that they're not about to share that high-value man, either!

The problem is that they're whistling Dixie (oh, that's probably a downright unwoke mixed metaphor), but neither they nor their mothers (and even sometimes fathers) are raising these young women to have anything close to a prayer of snagging the men they feel they're entitled to. Maybe in a generation or so, they'll collectively wake up (much like feminism-light women woke up collectively back in the late 1980s in the Great Biological-Clock Reversal), but for quite some time I fear -- absent something very radical occurring in both the black and white subcultures -- this is going to get far worse before it starts to get better.

This, though, is perversely good news or my daughters, because, despite some of the problems I've had with Holly Hannah, both of my daughters are hard-working, engaging young women who have absorbed the message that they can't expect anything to just drop in their laps. This gives them a serious leg up among their peers.
 
American Marxists, Take Your Fictitious Systemic Racism and White Privilege and Shove It

Over the past fifty years the Marxist-inspired American Left has been hellbent on trying to convince the citizenry that the United States is and always has been a malevolent nation due to “systemic racism” and “white privilege.” According to their agitprop, the European branch of the Caucasian race (or more contemptuously, “Whites”) has, since the dawn of recorded history, been the principal promoters and beneficiaries of slavery and repression throughout the world. Those members of this villainous race who settled in this country over the past 400 years are responsible for imposing never-ending racism and inequity on the American continent.

Therefore, the current white population must openly confess their collective guilt and seek forgiveness. Additionally, and in light of this demonic legacy, every American of any race should be mortified to be a citizen of such vile irredeemable country and its historic roots in Judeo-Christian dogma.

Not coincidentally, this same American Left, or as Mark Levin more accurately labels them, American Marxists, have declared that there is a path toward national redemption and a mechanism to forever erase the stain of “white privilege” and “systemic racism.” It is for the American Marxists (almost entirely populated by members of the white race) to assume the reins of power in perpetuity and transform the nation into a one-party secular socialist paradise. Their permanent ascendancy to the top of the governing pyramid would be the only means for those members of the White race that are not part of the enlightened and ruling left to be granted absolution.

The American Marxists are apparently confident that a majority of Americans of the White race and European heritage are easily gulled, susceptible to guilt and shame and are willing to stand aside as the nation is transformed.

Well, I am a member of the Caucasian race and of European heritage, I am a naturalized citizen of the United States, and I am a Christian. I am extraordinarily proud of being all the above. Further, even if I knew who my ancestors were, I do not have a scintilla of guilt nor do I care about what they may or may not have done over the centuries. Nor am I about to roll over and allow the wannabe autocrats and their dimwitted acolytes in the American Marxist movement to use fictitious “systemic racism” and “white privilege” as vehicles to transform the nation.

In reality, there is but one race as all mankind is physically the same and subject to the same attributes and frailties. But, as human beings have an inveterate need to classify themselves, the general consensus is that based on physical characteristics such as bone structure, skin color etc. there are four racial subsets of the human race. Throughout countless millennia, and not surprisingly as mankind easily falls prey to the base aspect of its nature, all four races have enslaved, violently subjugated and exploited others in and outside their racial group. In fact, it is estimated that virtually everyone of European descent has an ancestor that was captured or sold as a slave. The same holds true for essentially everyone within all the various races.

Sadly, slavery still exists to this day in multiple countries in Africa as well as in India, China and Pakistan among other Asian countries and across the entirety of the Middle East. It is estimated that throughout the world today there are over 40 million human beings in slavery.

None of these countries or regions are populated or controlled by the “evil” White race. Further, by 1863, all nations inhabited or governed by the ancestors of the current members of the white race had abolished slavery in perpetuity and turned their attention to guaranteeing the rights of former slaves. It is the only race, on a collective basis, to ever do so. And it is also the race that is in the forefront of movements to end modern slavery.

So, American Marxists, take your attempt to foment collective white guilt for the past and your vapid accusation of inborn White supremacy and shove it.

The assertion made by these same American Marxists that the United States is the embodiment of evil because of ever-present “systemic racism” is defeated by the mere fact that they have had to resort to this specious and feeble argument in their bid to achieve their goals. Since the beginning of the 20th Century, the left has been unable to make any serious inroads into transforming the United States into a one-party “socialist paradise” by using the standard class warfare tactic that succeeded in many other nations. That tactic worked in those nations because there was an element of truth in the underlying allegations of rampant inequality due to rigid class structures and monolithic governments.

That tactic did not work in America because this is the first nation in annals of mankind to eliminate rigid class structure, recognize the rights of the individual, dramatically disburse governmental power and champion capitalism. Further, it is also the first nation to create a written permanent Constitution with provisions to correct societal inequalities, which were used for women’s suffrage in 1920 and the elimination of the last vestiges of institutional racism in the 1960’s. It is the only nation in history that was willing to suffer the overwhelming death and destruction of a civil war to permanently end slavery. And it is the only country in the annals of mankind created as a multi-ethnic nation.

Thus, the only tactic the American Marxist have is to falsely cast the nation as irredeemably racist and to focus on the past through their distorted lens of the present. This is not a racist nation and despite their never-ending drumbeat and being able to convert some credulous citizens, a majority of Americans know that. In 2008, 77% of Americans (60% of Blacks) thought race relations were good in their individual communities.

So, American Marxists: take your attempt to cast this as a racist nation and your attempt to convince the citizenry they should be mortified to be citizens of the United States and shove it.

Christianity, with its roots in Judaism and its philosophical underpinning in the Ten Commandments, has been the primary driver of what is often referred to as Western Civilization. The civilization that ended slavery, initiated and promoted universal human rights, originated women’s equality, created parliamentary democracy, and recognized that as certain rights came from God and not man, they cannot be abrogated.

Thus, Christianity and Judaism are anathema to the Marxists. Throughout the world, they have vilified and often tortured and imprisoned their practitioners. For many decades, the American Marxists have sought to eliminate Christianity and Judaism from the public square by focusing on the human failings and foibles of individual practitioners and clergy while promoting agnosticism, atheism and anti-Semitism. And more recently, by attempting to change the laws and customs that protect freedom of religion. But 400 years of tradition cannot be easily erased and, thus, America has been and will always be a religious nation.

Every American should be proud of being a member of whatever race or ethnic group they may belong to, of being a citizen of a nation that is the shining city on the hill and of the Judeo-Christian roots in the founding of the United States and tell the American Marxists to take their vile attempts at manipulating the citizenry in order to transform America and shove it.
