@PeteR I noticed something recently in one of your shorts that I had not noticed before. Most translations of 1 Cor 6:9 completely leave effeminate men off the list. I am assuming to instead include it as covered by the listing of homosexuality. However in the original text there is a clear distinction between the two, that is not in most translations.

@PeteR Another good counter argument for kings is how many vehicles (modern day horses) does someone have? If they sight deut. 17:16, they can only have one for their household.

Actually, horses take a while to refuel, and when they get "worked hard and put away wet," they need time to cool off and recharge.

So a better analogy is EV's. Kings need a whole herd of those if they want to go anywhere...

BUT: If they force people into them - they have all 'returned to Egypt.'

@PeteR

Some more shower thoughts for your arguments Pete. How many examples do we have of Israel being punished as an entire nation for partaking in trangressions as a nation? What about the actions of a smaller group (Golden Calf, Baal of Peor) or an individuals transgression (David's Census, Achan's and Jericho). Considering the commonality of polygyny during OT times, if it was such a trangression Israel as a nation is also never rebuked for it. Ignoring the lack of a rebuke for an individual partaking in polygyny against himself or his house. I think its worth also including the fact that Israel as a nation was also never rebuked for Polygyny.
