Which birds? I don't seem to recall all birds being assumed to being monogamous for life, unless I'm under the wrong impression. Thought it was just some species/ varieties? Are you saying none are?
 
Apparently, it's extremely rare. Not unheard of, but far outnumbered by birds that do not mate for life.
 
I guess we're not descended from birds, after all, huh?
