That's also an example of an argument that proves too much. One could use the same argument against getting married monogamously. "you just want more sex".
lol and I would have answered "You better believe it!"

I point out that I can already have sex, because I'm married. While a single man looking for a wife cannot have sex yet. So who's more desperate for sex? Who's more likely to jump into marriage for that reason alone?I had to deal with the old "You just want more sex" argument, the other day. Somewhat of an Ad Hominem, but I asked him what objections he had to a man having sex with his wife. More precisely, it is called the "Attacking the Motive" fallacy.

Yup! I hope one day to have a second or third wife and to tell those anti-polys that I am having incredible, mind blowing sex with my wives, just to watch them get all worked up.Sex is one of the things that was “very good”... tell them to read Genesis 1 and 2 lol
And when did selfishness become a fruit of the spirit?o self-respecting woman would ever share her husband!"
or pride, for that matter. And when did selfishness become a fruit of the spirit?
"No self-respecting woman would ever share her husband!"

Or, 'Why cast perils before swine?'LoL. Like Sir Galahad the Chaste.
“I would feel very unBiblical.”How would you feel if your wife had another husband?
One of the first questions my former pastor asked me when this discussion first came up was, “does your wife know about this, and how does she feel about it?”. Um... it’s a biblical truth, so I’m not sure what you’re getting at.How would you feel if your wife had another husband? (i.e. argument from emotion) We don't determine truth by how we feel about it.
