I agree. Go look at the average school playground and you'll see no end of sociopathic behavior.

Many children have to be taught to be decent people. By nature they are not. Some never learn.

To some degree I will admit to being a sociopath because I lack certain aspects of empathy, I eschew various social norms, and "what other people think" is generally not a concern to me unless I'm having an anxiety attack.

A distinction of a sociopath from a psychopath is that a psychopath might spontaneously decide to do a bad thing regardless of the ramifications.

A sociopath will plan their bad thing so as to avoid any ramifications.

Lots of sociopaths working in government these days. Lots of them. ;)
