Weston A Price Foundation

Read their stuff decades ago.
Good stuff.

Well...the grains, sweets and nightshades mean I am out.

Love nightshades but the amount of inflammatory response I get from them is worse than alcohol. When I was eating paleo I felt decades older the first couple of hours of the day after a couple months of consuming them in quantity. Absolutely had to cut them out.
Grains and sweets...no thanks. I don't miss them at all. Got several decades longer to live, build and secure the future of my family. Indulgences like that simply are not worth the tradeoff and frankly, I like how I eat now.

If they had more to say after their notions on food then I did not bother. May as well be taking the advice of John Harvey Kellogg. If you know what he was instrumental in doing to the world, then you will get my point when I say that all potential interest I might have simply dissolved.
Save for buying local and fresh naturally...I am all for that part.

They are against processed foods, especially sugars.
They are much closer to your diet than I think you realize. The exception might be their promotion of milk, which they advocate be raw.

Read portions of their website. I like a lot.

Good to see they recommend smart portions of legumes and certain grains. Those are biblical ingredients.

I love lentils way too much to ever give up on them.

Been taking cod liver oil for about 6 months. Nordic version.

Going to show to my wife.

Thank you so much!

They will be closer to paleo than me.
Basically everything I eat would run if you tried to catch it.
I am with them on the raw milk and all of the stuff you can make with it.
I don't do much dairy anymore myself but it is more about the fact that I have made big strides in fitness and do not wish to slow down the belly shrinkage process. We make our own butter, yogurt, cheese and kiefer(sp?) and only able to get raw milk irregularly. Generally have to settle for the minimally pasteurized cream top organic stuff.
