Was Adam androgynous until Eve

Chaplain said:
for we all knew that there was no real answer that would provide the " I see it now"
I appreciate your gracious comments, but I for one try not to approach scripture from this perspective. What I see I will try to share. If others cannot, or choose not to see it I cannot help that. God will reveal to each of us in His own time. If I am mistaken, I too will see that in time, but I will continue to look, expecting to learn something, never assuming the answer can't be found. "He who thinks he knows a thing does not yet know as he aught to know" is a principle I try to live by. With this In view I can continue to sharpen my spiritual sword and draw closer to the truth. But each of us will stand alone before our maker. Our rationalizations, excuses, or appeals to what someone else told us won't bear much weight then. And so, I cannot demand that anyone agree or see what I see. If I am wrong I make myself accountable for their error and would rather not do that. So I can only suggest and share.

OK, I'm laughin' now too; a little bit. After trying to see this from your side, I can see the humor in it. If I were Mr. Shipley or Mr. Luck standing here spewing this silliness you might sit up and take notice. Who am I? NOBODY!

I've had a couple years to let this whole thing simmer in my grey matter. If one does a little reading about the medical issues relating to hermaphrodite or ambiguously sexed babies where doctors have to try decide which way to go with the surgery, and that early stage fetuses are all female-like and develop maleness as they grow, and the affects of sex hormones on the body, and other similar issues, then the concept of androgyny, and that God could have removed the female parts to make Eve, doesn't seem so far fetched. It seems more like the natural explanation.

Anyway, all is forgiven. I remain unrepentant, but I hope you can forgive me as well.

Nephilim, sons of God daughters of man, great men of old; that pot's been on the back burner for a few years. Might be interesting to take off the cover and give it a stir to see what turns up.
