Segregation between the sexes

Speaking of properly trained...

Things that he did right here:

1. When the attacker approached his car he got out and confronted the attacker with confidence. He tried to calm her down.
2. When she did not dial down the cRaZy he tried to leave.
3. When he was attacked he ended the threat.
4. Then he immediately leaves (see #2) to remove himself and the driver of his car from the situation.

I love his body slam here! Slow this down and watch his body mechanics.

He pulls her center of mass and her weight onto his knees before he tries to throw her. She is off balance at the start of that maneuver.

He continues her motion while keeping his feet planted.

Then it's up and over and slams her to the ground with the back of her head, neck, and shoulders bearing the impact.

This is a disabling and possibly lethal move. A small change in angle and it would have been lethal for sure.

It is well executed and obviously the local police appreciated his actions too.

LOL Megan, you crack me up. I fully agree with you here and love that you are making these statements. So much of this is considered hateful if it is stated by a man. Keep on keeping it real!! :-) I love it!!

I'm just saying it like I see it is all.

I considered asking this in ladies only, but I'm curious to hear men's opinions on it as well. I was recently watching a documentary about polygyny in Islam. Many of the men have rules that their wives can't be alone with men who aren't closely related to them. "Some" of the men even follow the rules themselves. Basically, neither the wife nor the husband can be in the company of the opposite sex alone unless they are a relative. This is customary in their culture and even applies to singles. There are also women and men only businesses such as restaurants, movie theaters, clothing stores etc.

I couldn't help but think this would be a bit comforting and peaceful. Curious what everyone's thoughts are on a bit more segregation between the sexes?
I'm glad you think this way.

I have alot respect for some of the aspects of Islam such as maintaining respect for the way Men and Women were created in relationships with each other which few cultures and religions still do.

In ancient Jewish culture it is clear based on The Scriptures that Men were created to lead over Women and Women were created to help Men, we are fundamentally created differently.

Equal implies sameness.

We would never say The Father God and Son God are equal and being made in their image we should never assume the same of Men and Women as Paul aka Shaul teaches throughout his letters but especially in Ephesians 5, 1 Timothy 2-3, and 1 Corinthians 11.

As Men, it is our duty to lead, teach, provide for, and protect Women. A Woman must always have a Man over her whether it is a blood relative or her Husband. A Woman without a Man is lost. Women weren't designed to be without a Man for they were made for us to help us and it is not good for a Man to be alone.

This is also why a Man may have may more than one Wife, but a Woman may not have more than one Husband (indeed an argument can be made that adultery is defined as a Man having sex with a Woman who belongs to another Man, if a Man has sex with an unmarried Woman then he is to pay the brid price and marry her regardless of if he already married to another Woman, there is no commandment to forbid a Man taking more than one Wife, only certain times there are certain restrictions placed this). Men are the head of Women just as Christ is Head of Man and of the church as his body is made of many members.

Our relationship with Messiah aka Christ is described by Shaul aka Paul as a Polygynous one in Ephesians 5, we followers are all part of the church his body each of us a body part like a foot or hand and together we form one team that is his body and bride while he is Head and husband.

I certainly never would have appreciated such a thing in my 20s. Now that I'm older and have more life experience, I can see the value and comfort in such things. It's one of the things I appreciate about other cultures as well.
