Off course, NATO is incapable.

“Hey, Yuri, did you hear we’re at war with NATO!”

“Astounding, Ivan, how are we doing?”

“We’ve lost 80,000 men, the storied 1st Guards Tank Army has been wiped out, more than 1,000 of our latest tanks are burned out hulks, we have to get old T62s out of storage to stay in the war, we’ve lost more generals in war than any nation ever, our flag ship is at the bottom of the Black Sea, we’re losing airbases hundreds of kilometers behind lines, land it took us 3 months to take was taken back from us in 3 days, our fleet has retreated from Sevastopol, and we can’t come within 300 kilometers of Ukraine’s coast without getting one of our few remaining warships blown up!”

“That’s terrible, Ivan! How is NATO doing?”

“Oh, they haven’t even started to fight.”

You make a good case @MemeFan, and we can pray that the net result of your analysis - that war this year is unlikely - is correct. Just don't get complacent and assume it is, because the people who influence global events aren't always as intelligent as you might hope, and act on information we are not privy to.
It only applies to big wars. I think even if West tries to create some fire, it will be controlled by rest and extinguished or at worst kept small.

In my opinion situation in Israel was supposed to be spark for great war, but even here it didn't spread wide. If they have failed to explode biggest barrel of powder on planet, what else they can do?

I doubt proxies have any chance of success. They have to start war themselves and best path is "false flag" in Europe done by "Russians".

Like I said, You posted about NATO. You took your chances.

Well, they're not bad! They definitely have a taste like something is slightly missing, maybe not as much sugar, but that doesn't really matter, they're lovely.
The younger 3 children are having a sleepover at Grandma and Grandad's place while the rest of us do a Lord of the Rings marathon, so they can take a loaf with them tomorrow.
Must be a symptom of that hobbit foot infection.

I agree. We probably need to ask a certain family in NZ.

Never been. Fredrick lives closer and has more chance of going to find out!

It is my dream to one day go to Hobbiton and Weta Studios. You know, in my spare time, and with all the spare money we have lying around...
I'd love to take our eldest, he'd totally geek out over all the movie stuff at Weta.

It's a little over 8,000km at the moment. ;) But I'm hoping to be in the neighbourhood in a few weeks time. I do want to avoid the foot infection part though.

Weta studios tour... hmmm... that's another possibility.

So was I, which is why I put it up. It is simply beautiful.
But you put it where it will get lost!

I learned growing up to take my daddy's shoes off and rub his feet. The little girl crawling around likes climbing up on my lap and helping.....so this will get passed on.

No way they're not already a plural family.

Also I love this one comment on the post:

I think your husband lost his masculinity, you should help him find it.
