I love Mr Rambo's videos in the background while I'm cleaning or walking the dog.

I hate to say but I can't wear headphones or listen to music or anything else while I do laundry (which is my main alone time) because I need to listen to and respond to things.

And people who walk around here with headphones on get eaten by bears, trampled by bison, bit by rattlesnakes, & etc.

I'm just saying I'd love to listen to a complete but much shorter message.

One of my law professors at Liberty University in a class with about 50 people said he thinks polygamy is not forbidden in the Bible. No one pushed back. He even pointed out the missionary scenario and said they can't make them divorce their wives. He did go on to say he thinks following scripture naturally leads to it being phased out like slavery, but still I thought that was pretty bold.

I'm rude, I just turn my phone or laptop volume all the way up lol I won't use headphones or earbuds either. I feel like I'm going to miss something important around me as well, especially walking my dog alone at night.

Honestly, I'm like @MeganC and have hardly watched any of @PeteR's videos, though I know they're good because Sarah tells me about them. This is partly because I don't have the time - but actually mainly because I actually already know about polygamy so he'd be preaching to the choir if I were the audience, and that isn't a valuable use of anyone's time. His videos are a very valuable resource for those who are actively investigating this topic and trying to work out the truth. For those of us who already know 90% of it, even though we can always learn more and may even have a few details wrong, there isn't so much value in watching hour-long videos hanging out for those titbits of information we haven't yet come across elsewhere. When you study a topic for long enough you run into the law of diminishing returns.

But it's also hard to ask @PeteR to summarise those titbits, because he doesn't know which bits you or I don't yet know so wouldn't know which parts to put in the summary!

Keep up the good work @PeteR, even if we aren't all watching it. We're not the target audience.

I'm currently studying the best strategies for fattening lambs. I don't need to preach polygamy to them, they're already experts at that.

There's more than polygamy topics though ❤️

I was just think there's got to be something that can be said in 15-20 minutes. Not asking to summarize a two hour video...although maybe a teaser excerpt would be nice.

Here's a thing:

I've noticed that the majority of people who post religious commentary on You Tube seem to believe that everyone else has two to eight hours to sit and listen to their epic commentaries. I won't even start listening to something if it means I have to devote more than an hour to it. Aside from Friday nights with the family I never watch movies for this reason. Even movies I would like.

While I appreciate that some messages will take hours and hours to communicate I dearly wish some of these people would post a few shorter videos for those of us who have a life. I really am interested in what these folks have to say but I simply don't have all day to commit to this.

Thanks!
I watch a lot of religious commentary on YouTube, but unless it is fantastic information, I don't want to sit there more than 30 minutes watching the video. An hour if it's really good info on topics that I am really interested in.

This is why it boggles my brain that Christians think YHWH is offended by polygyny. Haven't they looked at the natural world? *shakes head*

I liked reading the comments on some of Pete Rambo's videos. Those were awesome!

So I was searching for some information about the linkages between kiwi birds and the elephant bird of Madagascar, using Brave search. Turns out that Brave search now has an AI driven summariser - which is probably using Bing behind the scenes. Anyway, this is what it told me in response to the query "where did the kiwi bird originate":
The kiwi bird originates in China, where it has been cultivated for at least 300 years. Its scientific name is Actinidia chinensis and it was formerly known as Chinese gooseberry, mi hou tao (“macaque peach” in Chinese) and melonette.
Clearly still a work in progress there... :)

I guess y’all missed the Made in China sticker on they butts.

I have always looked younger than Samuel. I just generally look fairly young, and then having children kept me young as well. I'm actually older than him, though no one guesses that.
Today, for the first time, a woman thought that I was Samuel's daughter.
I think it's hilarious, and quite the compliment!
The poor woman was horrified when I explained it to her lol.
I somehow think you may have enjoyed her reaction...just a little? ;)

Is anyone else noticing the banks imploding today?
