Not everything is lost. If new Congress show some fiscal discipline thing will get better.

Everybody blames central banks for money printing. But often central banks by law must printing every spending idea by politicians.
The Fed is almost entirely independent in our case.

How is crazy federal deficit financed? Fed prints money.

In Europe is worse since only ECB buys sovereign debt.

No deficit, no money printing. OK, central banks can print money to save system, but this is rare. Financial crises don't come every year.

Key is goverment spending growing slower than private sector. Reagan did it.
The problem is that Reagan didn’t already have the interest on tens of trillions coming out of the budget before any spending occurs.

Still no problem. Rising interest rates don't impact existing debt, but only new debt and refinance of existing.

Cutting costs will help with both. Less new debt and lower interest rates on refinance due to better state balance sheet.

Default is also a option.

We are way past the tipping point, default is the only path that I can see.

Wrong. States historically speaking prefer printing.

Hyperinflantion awaits dollar. Fed has sterilized 1.5 trillion of dollars (renoved from circulation). They can't stay forever there. Check interest on excess reserves (I think).

Anyway, since world has started dedollarization where will finish overseas dollars when they are not needed there? Go back to USA.

I voted for Harriet Hagerman for Congress yesterday. Made a trip of it and voted and then did some shopping in town. Liz Cheney lost her primary election despite a lot of help from the Democrats and I am happy to see Cheney gone.
So glad to see that she couldn’t cheat it.

Hyperinflation does await. But that IS, in fact, the 'preferred method' of default.

And as the Evil John Maynard Keynes, hero of the left, observed, not one man in a million will realize how badly they've been had.

(I tend to suggest, they will - but only after the shelves at WalMart are empty.)

Donald Trump has now ended three family dynasties: the Clintons, the Bushes, and the Cheney's.
Next up: the O'Bidens!

"Come out of her, My people," is a live radio show that I've done for well over a decade now that stresses the once-obvious connections between the "Supreme Law of the Land" in the once-free united States, and the True Supreme Law. It's also the title of my longstanding ministry, and His admonition for how we are to respond to a "world" that has reject Him, and it's what this nation's Founders did, when they wrote about, and WITHDREW, the "consent of the governed," after a "long train of abuses and usurpations, having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny..."

This week's show looks at the undeniable "escalation" of that train of abuses, and suggests that (while I've always said I "don't do dates", nor predict WHEN) the inevitable ultimately happens -- it will be "suddenly."
