Prostitution vs adultery

"Stupid is as stupid does." -- Forrest Gump

I said the story of Isaac and Rivka concludes with the most succinct single-sentence summary of the PROCESS. (Genesis 24:67, QED)

The STORY, including the concepts of contract, agency (the un-named good and faithful servant, what it means to "come in the name of," and what constituted Rivka's "acceptance" of the offer) constituted a clear example, and precedent.

I can't make you understand, especially if you will NOT SEE.

I'm done with the idiocy and cheap shots, Zec. Why doesn't a 'moderator' know better?

This was the last attempt to actually make a point; you trivialized His Word, as usual, and ignored the issue:

I keep asking this question but, what? I trivialized His Word? I literally said that His Word has to be sufficient and true. I did the opposite of trivialize it. That was a false accusation.

And then you say, “Well the end goal is what matters” and thats supposed to address what? How to achieve the same me goal is what we’re talking about. You can’t be a good and faithful servant if you’re an adulterer. You can’t avoid adultery if you can’t explain what women are actually married or not.

And the Marx Brothers aren’t a cheap shot. That was funny and you know it.

PS> Just so other people who might be misled know: This is false on its face:

You can’t be a good and faithful servant if you’re an adulterer.
King David.

(And he was not only an example, but a precedent. For 'guess what'? People who want to understand the parables should read the STORIES, too.)

Oh lord, don’t make me quote the verses that say adulterers won’t get into heaven. King David was an ex-adulterer. Sin and redemption are basic tenets of the faith Mark. We don’t have to have these kind of semantic arguments just for the sake of having an argument. Practicing adulterers are in danger of eternal separation from their Creator. This should be axiomatic.

You still haven’t admitted you hadn’t realized that Christ taught that divorce was the undoing of one flesh. Your just trying to deflect with distractions.
Because you don't know the meaning of words. He taught about "putting away" specifically, and English renderings that use the word 'divorce' are just plain wrong. We've been there, done that. And you can't "undo" an act ("one flesh") that is already done. Since you refuse to recognize that it is Covenant which is broken by the [Deut 24] process, there is no point in dealing with you.

Why don't you just modify one of my posts to make people think I agreed with you? You'll do anything else.

You can however render assunder a child as was the custom and well known as such. THIS was what was referred to. Dont allow the babies to pass through the fire as a sacrificial offering like the world does and still does to this day. We just call it safe(from our conscience) abortion.

Putting away reverses a one flesh, not a covenant. Those are the words of Christ. You can’t get around that. Christ, twice, connected divorce and putting away to one flesh. And He didn’t say a word about covenants.

In the face of that the onus is on the other side to make an airtight case.
