PNW Peeps

Depends who you ask. You’re welcome to come meet with us, if you’d like. Most people aren’t interested in traveling that far
We drive to north Idaho and WA often. The Pacific Northwest is an area in the northwest corner of the United States and Canada. The boundaries include Washington, Oregon, Idaho and British Columbia. The parts of southeast Alaska and western Montana are also a part of the Pacific Northwest.

Cool

And I think as long as you are willing to make the trip to meet in person you are welcome most people don't include California but we had a young man show up so I stretched the borders. We would need quite a lot of people from MT to pull the center of our map off the Cascades and out of Oregon. But I would be thrilled if we grew to the point where we had to say "I5 Corridor" only or "eastern WA, ID, Western MT, and Eastern OR" only. But I without asking any man decided that any man who wants to claim to be in our group is in until there is good reason to exclude him. But as I type this I realize I didn't actually pray about that. So I will ask all of us on this thread to pray.
"Most High Please 1 be glorified by our working 2 the men You have appointed be recognized to do the work You have for them 3 And by Your might protect us from A. Pride B. doing anything in our own strength. 4 And lastly would You set times and borders for us. So we can know who are the people You are calling to Yourself in this way and time. Because I believe this is revealed as Your will therefore it is in the name of Your Son. That it be."

@PaulP Just a suggestion, I have noticed a distinguishing of adressees in the begining of some sermons for example (This ones for the men), and I personally think this is a disservice to the women who are listening as it might signal a tune out as it isnt addressed to me moment.

Specifically refering to your most recent video, there is a lot that a woman can extract from your sermon for raising and encouraging their sons as well as for daughters to extract for husband selection.

If anything I think it would be more productive to encourage women to pay attention when addressing the men and vise versa.

Valid point. I will keep that in mind. If you haven’t seen the newest one on biblical wives, check it out

Nice teaching! Not the typical mothers day fair! :-)

Good stuff!

Have you already introduced the understanding of Biblical Families to this congregation? I have here in KY. It is interesting to me how some that I would think would be so opposed to it are simply like, "yeah, makes sense".

Anyway, keep on keeping on!
Shalom!

Thank you!

Yes I have been very open about my beliefs. The majority believe polygyny is not a sin but haven’t thought much further than that until they met me. I’ve been working on a few families to see the benefits and wisdom that comes from truly embracing it. As for BibFam, I invited the whole congregation to the last retreat but since it was my first time. Everyone wanted to see how I liked going first. I enjoyed it, and told everyone that it was very beneficial. Hopefully I can drag a few with us to the next event.
