Sometimes I look at things from an overly literal viewpoint.I agree with Nick, there is nothing manly about the phrase “metric butt load”.
I started wondering exactly what is a "butt load" of something? Is it the volume of feces contained in a full colon? If so, then we should be able to calculate roughly what that would be based on the average length, diameter, and flexibility of the organ.
Since we are talking about a "metric butt load" we will use cubic centimeters rather than cubic inches. Then again, sometimes the contents of a colon are more liquid than solid, so perhaps I should calculate in milliliters rather than cubic centimeters.
Hormones such as testosterone are present in the body at very low concentration, even for the truly manly among us. Even the well bearded Zec probably does not quite have a full metric butt load of it.
The amount of pure testosterone that would be required to fill a colon would be quite substantial. Now I find myself wondering why the capacity of a colon should be used for measuring quantities of testosterone.
Couldn't we also use "bushels of testosterone", "quarts of testosterone", or "deciliters of testosterone"? I know "hectares of testosterone" wouldn't make sense.
