Find A Wife In The Philippines

You use Azure Standard as well. Can't say I am surprised.
We have been ordering from Azure Standard for probably 20 years. In 2020 when their delivery system was challenged by all the lockdown orders pouring in, they ended up delivering on a Saturday to a 7th day Adventist church camp. The drop coordinator there had thought of quitting before and that was when the camp director said "No more!" So, I put in for a drop in our town and have been managing the deliveries there since Aug 2020.

I couldn't tell you why they don't have pork. Availability and demand I'm sure influence selection. That's why I can no longer get large cans of tomato sauce, pineapple, olives, or 5 lb blocks of cheese....or even 1 lb bags of baking yeast at our local Costco. Not enough big families for them to stock those for. Gotta go to the business supply Costco store in Phoenix for the real deals. Oh well.

I am a newbie in that I have only used them for 3-4 years.

Since I went full carnivore there is less stuff I can go to from them unfortunately but still enjoy perusing.

They are Torah keepers from what I’ve heard.

I get the 5lb raw cheese blocks… 🤔
My cousin married into that family 28 years ago. I couldn't tell you if what products they stock are a reflection of their religious convictions. I know that sadly that cousin's family had other problems with "Torah keeping" that were imo more harmful than pork, that ended in divorce. Kinda hard for us mere mortals to know exactly how harmful anything is though. Kinda like this expresses..

For want of a nail the shoe was lost, for want of a shoe the horse was lost, for want of a horse the soldier was lost, for want of a soldier the battle was lost, for want of the battle the war was lost....

...and all for the want of a horseshoe nail.

I thought I'd add this here and hope it might be of interest to some of you....

About six weeks ago we employed a new helper/maid. She is late forties and an excellent worker but has limited English abilities. Every morning and evening after meals I would normally read the Bible and pray, and I noticed she would stop her work and listen. At the moment I am on my own here (no wife present), so I wasn't planning on reading aloud at the table after meals. However, I noticed the maid waiting when I finished eating so I asked her if she wanted to hear me read and pray and she said, yes please. As a result, for the last week I have invited her to sit with me and I have read and explained the scriptures to the best of my ability. In the morning, I read a Psalm and Proverbs, and, in the evening, I began reading from Genesis 1 for her.

The reading has led to extensive discussion about many different subjects. For example, when I read Genesis chapter 4, she asked, where did Cain find a wife? She got the full Creation Seminar reply and was satisfied with the answer. When I read about Lamech and his wives, I took the opportunity to explain biblical marriage/polygyny. I can tell she is understanding what I am teaching as she asks intelligent questions. She has now begun commenting about how what we read in the Bible is different from what her religion teaches. Before I read from Genesis Chapters 7 & 8 last night, I showed her some photos I took of fossilized shellfish in rocks at the top of Te Mata Peak in NZ. I asked her to think about how there could be fossils of sea creatures on a mountain. After reading about the Flood, she understood and believed what is written in the Bible. I have taught about sin and death, and about salvation by faith alone in Jesus Christ - to be a follower of Him and not of a religion.

All this has transpired in just one week. What will happen in the future, our Great and Awesome God knows, I don't. But this is an example of what I have been suggesting as the means for building a foundation in the truth of God's Word for relationships.

For those of you who might be wondering, I suspect there are SERIOUS issues to be dealt with if God should save her and she wanted to change her status from being anything other than our maid. ;)
I wrote the above four months ago, and I thought I'd update on how things are developing.

Due to family circumstances we needed to employ an additional maid, so three months ago we had a young woman who claims to be a Christian come and start work for us. She immediately joined our Bible reading and prayer times each morning and evening, and I offered to read additionally for her as I was reading for the other maid. So, I'm now reading daily from the Bible for each of my wives and maids individually and also as a group. Two weeks ago, I started teaching a Bible lesson since the maids don't get out for "church". And because I don't know their true spiritual condition, I've begun teaching to lay a foundation for them so that they understand their state before the Holy God. This has already produced some important questions from them and led to excellent discussions about the sinfulness of humanity and God's justice in condemning sinners. Next week I'll begin teaching the Ten Commandments and then I'll teach the gospel. Let's see what happens!

The Word of God is indeed living and powerful, and it's a particular joy and delight to have the opportunity to see His Word impact the lives of the people He brings across my path. May He accomplish His purpose as His Word reaches their hearts.

No plan to wife up maids?

My last update was at the end of December, so I thought it's time I wrote another update as things continue to develop.

The other young maid I mentioned in my last update decided she wanted to go back to her parents and family. She left some time back and I have no idea what she is doing now. One of our previous maids then contacted us and asked if she could return to work for us, which she did. She has no interest at all in joining us for the Bible reading and prayer time, and that's fine. We don't force our staff to join with us if they don't want to.

I have continued to read the Bible daily for my wives and for the first maid. Interestingly, today I am again here with no wife in the house, but there is another woman here along with the maid who both came and sat for the Bible reading and prayer time. I was explaining to the other woman that I have been reading through the Bible for the maid and tonight we are up to 2 Kings chapter 9. Out of the blue, the maid told the other woman that "when he (me) has finished reading through the Bible to the end he will start at Genesis and read through for me again." She was, in effect, bragging that I will continue to read the Bible for her into the future. So, she obviously intends to stay and wishes to hear me read daily for her into the future. How good is that!

I honestly don't know if God has saved the maid but her delight in hearing me read and explain the Scriptures for her is truly delightful. She is asking more questions but also pointing our things she is seeing for herself in the Scriptures. She has become more diligent at her work, watched numerous YouTube videos to become a better cook (I'm getting fatter by the day!), and seeks to serve us faithfully in the care of our home. She laughs and smiles even in the midst of the difficulties she has to deal with and is particularly respectful and submissive toward me. She goes out of her way to help me, even intuitively doing things before I ask.

As I mentioned in my first post about this situation, I don't know what God has in store and there are serious issues to be delt with if she wants to change her status from being anything other than a maid. But guys, the Word of God is living and powerful and it will accomplish His purpose in the lives of people. Don't sit and wait for a unicorn to drop from heaven into your lap. There are so many women out there in that big wide world who may very well delight to hear you read and explain the Scriptures to them. Who knows, God may change a sinner into a unicorn right in front of your eyes. :) 😇 Shalom

Good report.

Althought, I couldn't stand getting fatter, no matter how good cooking.
