For those without as much discretionary time, do you have some billet points or time markers with brief descriptions?
Personally, I generally convert these types of things to mp3 and listen to them while I am doing other things. I can't bear to watch lectures or sermons on video. I spend a lot of time driving, and working alone, so I do have a lot of time for listening.
He talked about Jotham's parable (about worthless Abimelech) from Judges 9. If virtuous and productive men do not rule, then unproductive and selfish men (or even women) will rule. That is where we are now. We have the worst sort of selfish, lazy, and unproductive people ruling over us.
He also gave some principles for those seeking to alter this situation.
It's also because most population and people here support unproductive by sharing same worldwiew as unproductive.
Gary North was right. NWO was only able spread itself because most population has same worldview: mandatory state provided education, state provide social security.....
Most people here refuse to go full ancap route. We need just a little state. Yea, unproductive share same opinion.
You see, having state means having no competition in providing certain service (minimum ones requiring violence usage). Since being in charge of state provides very pleasant life with minimum effort (blessing of no competition), seizing control of state will provide extreme motivation for unproductive.
Since most normal people don't have same motivation, they will lose fight for political control. So insisting on state means accepting being ruled by unproductive.
There is reason why I'm fan of small voluntary associations. Since any association will tend to become oligarchy* and I can't beat Bill Gates in bribing association leadership, my plan is by maximizing number of association Bill Gates will run out of bribe budget. If that fails, I will start new association and when Bill tries bribe routine, it's expose time.
Precisely because I don't believe in big international bureaucracies (WHO) as Bill Gates, I can't voluntary finish in same situation as you @Bartato. Being ruled by unwelcome people.
Don't ever accept worldwiew where undesirables with greater motivation and skill will finish ruling over you.
You see, by going full ancap route you could start association providing protection service etc...(whatever you now think you need state) with membership requirement: unproductive (however you define) by, by, by
. At least your money couldn't go for their support.*Somebody needs to be in charge and "ruling class" will always want to do their own thing instead of running service for benefit of membership.
I see what you are saying and it makes some sense, but I don't think "ancap" is the Biblical framework.
The universe has a King. All authority below is delegated, and accountable to Him.
It only applies between humans, not between human and Lord.
There will always be hierachy between people. If it's involuntary, you have just closed escape hatch from abuse.
