Funny story from when i taught at a range in my misspent youth.
As we are closing and nearly 80 year old ex cop is just about to lock the door while 3 dumbasses who had seen too many stupid movies tried to push the door open with pump shotguns at high ready.
These dork were all wearing ankle length black leather trench coats, black leather cowboy hats ffs and sunglasses. At 9 PM during the Texas summer these dense sob's are apparently cosplaying matrix characters that got edited out.
Old boy has muzzles in his face and is calm as a cucumber and telling them "Boys boys... just look behind me. Look behinds me and see what you are walking into".
There was a staff of about ten at close and obviously we all were armed on the clock but the joint had several pump 870s as well as ARs in strategic locations to grab for just such a circumstance.
Happily these dumbasses were able to see at least 5 guys ready to ventilate them if they got inside. Not me...had my goofy ass crouched behind the cash station built out of ballistic panels with a bead with an 870 on where their bahoogies will be if they take another step. They legged it.
Just can't imagine their thinking to imagine there would not be a bunch of armed gun nuts working at a shooting range.
