If Ukraine by some miracle happens to survive this war, the Ukrainian people will almost certainly be replaced by millions of Islamic refugees from the third world.
Western "leaders" hate their own citizens, hate Christians, and hate white people.
In trying to "save Ukraine" they have destroyed Ukraine.
Ukraine should have let go of the provinces that wanted to leave (like Russia did with all the breakaway regions in 1990).

Surviving Ukrainians will be most hardened war veterans or most connected or most law avoiding people on planet. Also most racists in Europe.
After three years of the Russian people cheering on as their brave military destroyed Ukrainian hospitals, homes, villages, apartments, clinics, schools, train stations, and etc. then it is time for them to feel the pain they have inflicted on others.
If the reduction of Russian cities is what it takes to end Russian support of their war to conquer Ukraine then that's what it will take.
That's what it took to defeat the similar imperial aggression of Germany and Japan eighty years ago.

I came across new information that I did not know before. It came from Southern liberal comedian. I knew that Paul Manafort worked for both Yanukovich and Trump. Yanukovich was the Ukrainian president who ran away from his people in 2014 after his attempt at establishing regime by shooting 100 protesters. What I did not know is that Paul Manafort was owing money to Russian oligarch (around $20 million) and yet he being short on cash agreed to work for Trump's campaign for free. Why would a broke person would agree to work for free?
Another interesting thing about this Russian oligarch ( Oleg Deripaska) to whom Manafort owes money to, is thar Oleg dominates aluminum industry. Most recently Russia offered to USA 2 million my of aluminum in midst of higher taxes of aluminum from Canada. It appears Trump is interested in this deal.
After Manafort was charged, Trump eventually pardons him. Manafort and Yanukovich were good friends and shared sauna naked. This may contribute to explain how Trump is Kremlin's asset.
At this point it might be safer for Ukraine just to buy patriot missiles for defense and have Europe assist with everything else. Trump is compromised.

Another reason Mango Mussolini is Kremlin's asset: he uses the same justification to annex, to take possession of Canada, Greenland, and Panama as his baal Putin. This verbage legitimizes Putin's behavior toward Ukraine and other past and future aspirations. Coveting is still a sin last time I checked.

You wanted this be trivial issue in the light of illegal immigration issues. This, however, may result in demise of the president. It would have been very easy for Mango Mussolini to come out victorious, half of Republicans and 90% of Democrats would have supported him as he would have equiped Ukraine with superior technology. It was slam dunk situation, but he chose to appease his handlers. Now orangutan has to navigate around situation when Ukraine agreed to temporary cease fire and Kremlin did not, yet he will still favor Kremlin. Another proof that he is Kremlin asset.
Regarding Trump's amazing negotiation skills, has he considered to put the skills to use in deal with Mexican cartels. He did such a good job with Taliban.
