While waiting for a friend at a bariatric surgeons office, I had the opportunity to talk with a lady that recently had gastric by-pass surgery. She started out at 345# and was anxious to talk about her experience. She told me that she didn't start out life with a weight problem, but developed it due to stress. Her name is Willie. Willie claimed that her biggest stress was her husband cheating on her. His girlfriend said he would leave Willie for her. He however told Willie that isn't so. He is currently paying over $1000.00 a month just for Willie's medical insurance. Willie says her husband is a good man, but it drives her crazy to think of his hands on another woman.
I wrote on my note pad, the web address for BF and gave it to her asking if she would look at it. I told her that it would help her better understand her husband. "Willie, men and women are wired differently, we were created that way by God." I explained about the parallel between the husband/wife relationship with Christ/church, then I had to leave.
She was very interested. She is a very delightful lady. I hope she visits and is blessed.
