A story from Africa tells of a woman wanting to save her marriage, so she went to a native doctor. The native doctor told her all he needed was the hair of a lion. She left disappointed.

But as luck would have it, on the way home she saw a lion. So she came up with a plan to get the lion's hair!

Every day she brought food to the lion. This went on for six months until the lion would now recognize the woman, and come up to her, and wag its tail!

Later, she began to stroke the lions head. She did this for six month till she finally was finally able to pluck the lion's hair.

She went back to the native doctor with the lion's hair. The native doctor smiled a big smile and said.

"NOW GO HOME AND DO THE SAME FOR YOUR HUSBAND!"

And that is exactly what happens to plenty of women who follow this sort of advice. Yes, some people create their own drama and spouses are just reacting to that sort of bad energy that has been created, but some spouses are toxic and no amount of stroking and food fetching will make any difference. Lions are Lions, they may tolerate you but if you tick them off they will rip your throat out.

And who wants to be married to that?
