so my sisters surgery is today. We are being called back to say goodbye before they take her. I'm a hot mess right now! I will keep you guys updated. Again, we aren't sure what all it will entail.

Surgery is done! The doctor said that was one of his most challenging cases. They Took out 10L of fluid which was approximately approximately 20lb. Her Left ovary gone and the Fallopian tube is intact but not functional. The right ovary has a small cyst on it but he left it to preserve fertility as that was his goal. She will need to go to an infertility specialist if she wants to have kids. If she doesn't want kids she needs to come back and have everything out as soon as possible as the cyst on the right ovary will grow as big as this one was. It ended up being over 14" when they got in there. Surgical pathology showed No cancer but we have to wait 2-3 weeks for the official pathology report. She was diagnosed with severe endometriosis too. God is soooo good.
