PowerPoint on Polygamy

I really enjoyed this power point! What a concise explanation of polygamy and I love the glimpse into this aspect of African culture through the photos. I have often thought that it was unfortunate the number of Africans who have been told by Christian missionaries that they must give up their wives in order to become a believer...and how tragic for the abandoned wives. How heartwrenching as well for a husband to believe he has to choose between Jesus Christ and his wives. I know that among the Zulus there are Christian pastors who are polygamists, but I hope that in other practicing cultures, God will send missionaries who know the scriptures well enough to not break up families.
Thanks for sharing this!

Wow, that is a great find, Randy. I would LOVE to know what it's doing on the Intel website. I'd like to add it to our links page, but it's a catch-22: too much publicity and it's sure to disappear. I made a local copy in case it does.

When I was in Iraq, I had the great privilege of fellowshipping with Ugandan believers, some who were the children of plural marriages, and don't remember running into any Ugandan that was opposed. As my friend Juliet said, "Oh, Mahm Ali, it is no big deal!!" I was the first Western white believer they had encountered that was for biblical marriages, and they treated me like a rock star. Me thinks that having a president of a nation from South Africa being in a plural marriage is going to have more impact than most folks might think.
