Poly on The O'Reilly Factor

All that comes to mind after watching that Bimbofest was Heinlein's advice:

"Never underestimate the power of human stupidity."

One of them says, given the assumption that "gay marriage" [sic] is just fine, that polygamy would "shame [the term] marriage"!!! (The concept of any Higher Authority obviously escapes the combined intellect.) The other one leaps to the conclusion that what counts is "two" - but evidently nothing else matters. (Oh, and "the law" - whatever that may mean today.) "I tremble for my country when I remember that God is just," says Jefferson.

Given he is part of the media O'Rielly did pretty good. I hate the term Triads, triads have no benefit to us.

Yup. The ladies were poorly informed. But it was fun watching O'Reilly defend our right!

O'reilly's format, and probably all tv formats, don't lend themselves to considered arguments on any topic.

True, but I bet that if you tried to call them on that then they would most likely tell you that it was their show and if you wanted something different then get your own show. A lot of these shows, even the ones I like, are like that. It is about the ratings and keeping with how they have it lined up.

I agree. Where did that term come from anyways? I have always known the Triads to be a notorious Japanese mafia.
