You'd think if they were the slightest bit cooperative they'd have paid for a single obituary with text from both of them, rather than doubling-up on the expense... No, I think it sounds like they're well aware of each other but not cooperative in the least, and the funeral could well be interesting...

A man answering the phone at Greenidge Funeral Homes told PhillyVoice that ... he did not anticipate any problems because everybody knew it was happening.

Yeah. So I wouldn't read much into it one way or the other.
