**Introductory Note: I know and understand the history of Christmas. I am aware of its origins just like I am of the actual term Sunday. I am aware of the history of the Christmas tree and many of the other things surrounding it. But this post is not about a goal to uncover or deal with all of this history. It is simply a post about expressing love to others as some still choose, despite the history, to show their love to Christ and others on this particular day of the year that they choose to honor. So if you do not choose this day of the year or if you do not like the idea of Christmas at this season then by all means ignore this post.**

To Everyone here at Biblical Families,
I want to tell you that I hope as you celebrate the birth of our Lord that you experience in a deeper way his love and grace as you share that with others this coming new year.
Our Lord humbled himself to come to an earth that vividly displayed the hate of the heart born from unstable heart of man plagued by the curse of the fall. Yet to bring us back to love and stability Christ chose to be born in a humble stable. From that stable a little baby altered the world at large and the universe forever.
Our Lord, his love, and his life are our ultimate quest in all things. He courted us, sacrificed for us, and united himself to us so that we too one day would be as he is, a sinless race that will give of ourselves in order to serve another.
This year I have traveled with some of you on these forums, I have met some of you in person at the retreats, and others of you I have prayed with, counseled, learned from, walked with through your trials of life, and served with you as we labored for our Lord. I want to say to you all I love you and am thankful for all that God has done, is doing, and will do in the future with you and with us as we strive to model the Lord's love in all that we do.
May this Christmas, as you celebrate the greatest gift of all, our Lord's birth, be an instrumental time that the Spirit provides for you stability in your personal life, in your home life, and in your mission for Christ as you carry the gospel of love to this nation and beyond.
With much Grace,
Dr. Allen
