Good morning/afternoon/evening all,
I have lurked here and posted a thread before but realize I've never introduced myself. Please allow me to do so.
I am a 25 year old man, married with one son and another on the way. I am a Historian by education and training, and currently serve in the National Guard. In terms of my faith I'm an Anglican by upbringing, though I become less attached to denominations by the day.
David is not my real name. I cribbed this persona from David IV Bagrationi, a legendary monarch to the Georgian (country, not state) people. I am not Georgian (neither country nor state,) though I am from the American South.
My wife is opposed to the idea of polygyny, though since the last thread I posted she has become far less hostile to my belief in it. I attribute this to @scarlet25's recommendation of The Great Omission by Clyde Pilkington Jr., which we have been working through. I also attribute her softening to the patience and persistence the Lord has gifted me, as well as the support all of you have passively given by frequent and consistent posting on this forum.
Thank you for everything you've done for me. Though I may not be the most active here, I hope to get to know all of you better.
