First, I would like to say that I am so happy to have found this group.
I am from western Canada and have loved the polygyny ideas for a long time. I do believe that women were created for man, I love the idea of community, I love the idea of being led with scripture and the ability to embrace my natural femininity..just to name a few. I have lived and learned and know this is what I want and need.
I am currently in a 10 year relationship (not married) he is a good man but not a godly man at all. I have never brought up the idea of polygyny to him. I fear it wouldn't be for spiritual reasons. I pray for some clarity on this.
I am also in my early 40's with two adult children. I don't know if at this point my desire for polygyny is realistic.
Any and all advice or thoughts is appreciated.

Welcome to the forum!

Polygyny without a strong biblical foundation sounds like a recipe for problems. Do you find that you are able to plant seeds with him in regard to his faith?

Welcome!
Why does a woman stay for 10 years with a male who is not Godly?

I have attempted to plant seeds with him but unfortunately haven't seen any signs of life

Welcome to the forum.

I suggest you ask yourself why you are with an ungodly man, particularly if you’re not married.

It is quite possible that you are biblically married to this man, (different than a state recognized marriage), if you’ve been living together as husband and wife.

If you’re truly not married, I would urge you to not give in to physical relations (unheard of in western society), and not make a marriage commitment to an ungodly man or non believer.

Welcome.

I recommend talking about polygyny with him. It would deepen would communication and trust in relationship.

Even if you don't practice anything, he should become more masculine and you feminine.

You can also make deal to advance in polygyny with speed you are comfortable.

Welcome. I trust this forum will help you in finding answers to whatever questions you are seeking and looking forward to getting your contribution. What is your religious background? How did you and why did you find this forum?

Thank you so much. My religious background is catholic. I found this forum by initially seeking any groups whether online or in my area with the same values as me. I am so happy to have found this forum!

Well, if God leads you to end things with a man who is not godly, you won't have any issues finding a husband here. I will say though that we generally skew away from Catholicism, as the RCC is the institution that allowed the Greco-Roman idea of monogamy only to infiltrate the church. Oh and...welcome!
