Abbee Joy Miller

If you've been to an East Coast Biblical Families retreat, you've probably met Curtis and Annie Miller - and you know how big their heart is for people, and for God.

Two days ago they celebrated the birth of Abbee Joy, and we rejoiced with them. Now, Abbee is in the NICU, with several issues, including some holes in her heart. Abbee has Down Syndrome, which some of us here are very familiar with (and have been blessed by), and it is not uncommon to have heart issues associated with Down's.

Please join us in praying for the entire family, and specifically for healing for Abbee's heart - sometimes these can close without major surgery, and that would certainly be preferable.

We'll post updates here when we have them.

Update: Abbee Joy Miller

Thank you everyone for your prayers - here's an update: Abbee is now at home with her family. She has an "AV canal defect", large hole between upper chambers of her heart, extending into lower chambers - makes it very hard on her lungs. She needs to grow before surgery - perhaps at 3 months. Please continue to pray for her regularly. We're looking forward to meeting her at some point.
