A prayer of thanks

I've been job hunting for some time. My wife and I were praying for me to find a great opportunity to put the education that I've worked so hard on to work.

Today I was offered a job as an Associate Engineer for Content Operations by Time Warner. I don't want to share actual numbers but the job pays more than twice the best job I've ever held in the past.

God is looking out for me by bringing me this opportunity. I would appreciate it if we could join in a prayer of thanks for His many blessings.

I too am happy for you Wesley. I'm about to step out on my own again after working for others for two years. Lord Willing I will be driving my own truck next week. Yeeee hawww
 
I got the confirmation email last night. I passed the drug screening and the background check and my official start date is this coming Monday, the 13th.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!

I almost missed out on a job once because they sent the drug screening info to the wrong house and I missed it. They ended up shelling out for the more expensive hair sample test luckily since it was their mistake.

They sent mine by email with a 48 hour time limit. I had it done within twelve. I've never even tried that stuff, not even once in my entire life, so it was a just a formality. The background check was a bit more concerning since my credit rating has probably slipped during the time that I was unemployed but I passed that too.

We are truly blessed. God is AWESOME!!!
